Eixample is the neighbourhood that personally to me screams out Barcelona in the most charming way, and of course it is where Paseo de Gracia is, and a few of Gaudi’s most marvellous pieces of art. It is a mixture of old and new Barcelona, transportan you to it’s origins with Markets, neighbourhood bars, stores, and needless to say it’s amazing architecture. Yet on the other hand you can find modern boutiques with up and coming designers, new restaurants with the most intricate interior designs, and spaces such as my new favourite chill out spot Wer-Haus. A space with a men’s shop, a coffee shop, and a little art gallery, all designed to minimalist perfection. I know I keep finding new places where I say that their coffee is amazing, but honestly the coffee here is fantastic, and I happen to have friends who are as passionate about coffee as much as I am so that helps when they tell me where to go! For this occasion as you can see I decided to dress up (with Louboutin’s for a business meeting, and then I dressed it down with white kickz for Wer-Haus chill out) in a little Spring look by Katarina Grey my favorite Barcelona designer, she is so talented and sweet which makes for the perfect combination. She is from Barcelona, but studied at Parsons, and I got to attend her first NYFW show a few years ago, and all I can say is I was in awe back then and I am even more in awe right now! When you enter her world you will never want to leave, it is filled with dramas, beauty and power, and that is all I feel when I wear her magical piece, please check her out and stay tuned as I will be sharing more of her collection, especially for wedding style because wedding season is just around the corner!
