Lots of new and exciting things are happening here at GoodGood Gorgeous! For one, Haya has introduced a few new blog contributors. One of them being myself…. Hello GGG readers, I’m Sammi! A Frederick, Maryland native, West Virginia University alumna, lover of fashion, food (specifically tacos) and new places. I will be showing up on here once in a while, especially on Sundays. I say especially on Sundays, because you are now reading the first of many Sleepy Sunday posts, hope you enjoy! xx
Sundays are for sleeping in, breakfast in bed, catching up on all of your shows, social media and indulging in all of your guilty pleasures. This mindset has led us to creating the Sleepy Sunday posts. A post you can look toward to every week and scroll through while you lounge away. Sleepy Sunday’s will be centered around one of Haya’s passion, interior design. Every week we will pull six pins we love from the GoodGood Gorgeous Pinterest (GGG is a Pinterest you most definitely want to be following!!) and discuss why we love them so much. Our first Sleepy Sunday is dedicated to our favorite place to spend the day……our bed. In a world full of hustle and bustle, the best thing to come home to is a calm and simple environment. That is why we are loving the look of an all-white bed spread and duvet covers, it is as if you are sleeping on a cloud. We love this look for many, many reasons. One of the biggest advantages of a white bed spread or duvet is that it allows you to be more flexible in other design aspects. Many of the pins below show a white bed spread with a crazy, eye-catching interior piece behind the bed. We think a large mirror like this one from Anthropologie would be perfect to hang above a white spread. A more affordable option being this sun burst mirror from Target. Another amazing thing about white is our favorite P word…Pillows! The all white bedspread design lets you get as crazy as you want with your throw pillows. We love these fun and fuzzy pillow covers from West Elm. Keeping your bed basic and minimalistic as possible isn’t a bad thing either. An all -white bed, with simple décor is nothing but inviting after a long day. This white top stitch duvet at Room&Board, and white linen duvet at H&M home has us wanting to take a nap in them right now.
