Wearing, Giuseppe Zanotti over the knee high boots, Zara coat, Stella McCartney Jeans, Stradivarius Blouse, YSL bag. Photography by: Natalia Photography
I have been looking endlessly for these two pieces to complete my winter wardrobe, and I was so delighted to find them before flying to freezing DC. I cant tell you how much money I have invested in endless over the knee boots, but have always been dissapointed that after a few times of wearing them they suddenly dont hold on to the knee anymore and just fall! So this time I decided to invest a little more and bought myself these beautiful Giuseppe Zanotti ones, and they arent just beautiful these boots are so comfortable, which is exactly what I need when Im running after my toddler or walking around pushing her stroller and trying not to slip my coffee, you know the usual:) It has been a while since I have worn heels on a day to day basis, so you can imagine how much Im loving it. To complete this look, I found this gorgeous Zara faux suede long coat, which they also have it in a beautiful beige color! I hope you love this look as much as I do:) Besos!
What I’m wearing, Sandro top, Lulu’s suede finge shorts (also in black) similar by River Island and here, Report Shoes knee high boots similar here.
It’s that perfect time of the year, not too hot not too cold, and I love the freedom of not having to wear coats, or layers! Which is why I thought this look would be perfect for a casual yet sexy look for a lunch date with my hubby. I found these suede fringe shorts on Lulu’s.com, and had to have them, I love the fringe trend but always have difficulty finding that one garment that is subtle with the fringing, and I thought these shorts had just enough of a fringe touch. I am definitely slowly getting back on track with feeling in tune with my body again, and putting effort in my looks, and of course wearing heels while I carry my baby girl around, which might sound silly to some of you but is truly an amazing feeling, after your body has gone through such new changes both physicially and emotionally! Hope you enjoy this look as much as I do.
Some of you might remember my first post in these series of Fashion & Food, when I posted my Wai Ming look at Le Diplomate, so I decided to continue and share with all of you more of my favorite spots in DC to sip on a tasty cappuccino or dine exquisitely! Sunday is the day my hubby and I love to hang out, get brunch, go to a museum, meet friends/family, or simply go on a walk and get a cup of cappuccino or cortadito in one of our favorite local café’s such as Ted’s Bulletin.
I am sure that some of you may find it just as challenging as I do, to dress right in this ubearable cold, some days I find myself wearing the warmest pieces in my closet without even caring if they look right together or not! But I am getting better at combining my garments, and getting the right look for these winter icy days… This Sunday I wore my grey chambray shirt, with plaid trousers by BLANK NYC, brown suede knee high boots, my faux fur, and my petite Céline clutch, with rings by Svelte Metals and Upper Metal Class. Stay Warm!!!
I can’t believe New Year’s is almost here! This marks my 2 year anniversary in DC! Though I miss Barcelona every day (I won’t lie), I love celebrating the New Year with dear friends, having amazing dinner, and dancing the night away:) So I have started picking different looks (though we still have no plans), and here is one of my NYE looks, a long sleeve black dress (with a touch of sheer), over the knee suede boots, a cropped blazer (which you can get this Saturday at the District Closets shopping event in Marivanna DC, more info here ), black clutch, and some bling (it’s not a New Year celebration without some bling). What are you wearing to welcome 2014?
Cual es tu New Year’s look?
