My pregnancy is nearing the end, and the heat is getting absolutely unbearable! But I have made a pact with myself that I will devote this one month that is left to Shirel fully and completely, because her life is going to change so much and she will learn about new emotions that she han’t experienced before. Such as love and care for her baby sister, yet she will probably feel jealousy, maybe a little fear of losing our love, which makes me so sad but I am here to remind her every minute and moment of how endless our love is for her. So this past week I chose to take her to see La Sagrada Familia because she is so crazy about Disney princess stories, and castles, I thought she would see it as this beautiful castle, and I was right she loved it and was in total awe of it, just as I am every time I see it, it never gets old and I am always as amazed as the first time. I hope you enjoy these looks of ours, as you can see my latest wardrobe is mainly Massimo Dutti dresses, they are so perfect for my pregnancy, they are comfortable, flowy, perfect for this heat and I can maintain a chic pregnancy look. For Shirel of course it goes without saying most of her wardrobe is Monnalisa I love it and so does she!
Shirel is wearing: Monnalisa Pink Tutu dress, Monnalisa Ballerina’s, Monnalisa Flower Headband, IKKS faux leather jacket.
When it comes to brand’s I tend to find the ones I love and stick to them, because of their designs, quality and fit, and naturally the same happens with Shirel. As she grows up I have figured out which brands I love dressing her in, for different occasions of course. Monnalisa is one brand I hold dear to my heart, and it all started with my nieces, and watching my mom and their mom dress them in Monnalisa. Their quality is just inarguable, their designs are made with the princess and fairytale inspiration in mind but it always has touches of fun to it. I can honestly say all their pieces that Shirel has been wearing ever since she was a tiny baby (over and over again) still look brand new, I send her with their leggings and shirts to daycare from time to time, and after a wash they still come out looking brand new. For us moms that’s amazing, considering we have to wash their clothes constantly, and I do have cheaper pieces of course from H&M, Zara or C&A, which I also love but I know that I can’t exect them to look brand new after even their first wash (although I must admit C&A kills it on that regard, love their quality/price, but thats for another post). I love Monnalisa’s dresses, especially for special moments such as weddings, birthdays, or just for an evening out, but they also have such beautiful details on every piece from the materials they use, to the buttons, always adorned with a sparkle or pearls, their headbands are one of my obsessions, and Shirel actually leaves them on which is Huge! That is why I am delighted to share with you guys, that I have partnered with Monnalisa Barcelona, and Shirel will be dressed in their collections and we will share with you frequently their amazing designs, and my favorite pieces of their collections of course. Feel free to ask me any questions, email me, or leave your comments anything you would love to know, as I know that dressing our kids can be a bit tricky sometimes, but I would love to help you out with what I can!
Once again it has been a while, since I have managed to post on the blog! Those of you who follow me on Instagram know that Im back in Barcelona enjoying my city, my family and of course the beautiful sunshine, with my babygirl right by my side! I have been here for almost a month, and have had the chance to check out new hotspots which I will of course share on the blog, as well as all the stores, not only for myself but for my babygirl Shirel as well! One of my favorite brands for her is Monnalisa originally from Italy, it’s designs are a mix of classic, with playful touches and nostalgic prints thrown into it. I was invited to the Barcelona Monnalisa store to learn about their new collections, so I could see the pieces first hand and of course share them with you all. I don’t only love their designs but I also am in love with the store’s design, the soul of the brand is beautifully presented in the store with eye catching wallpapers, breath taking armoires, little details in every corner of the store, it makes me feel like Alice in Wonderland every time I enter the store, which is one of the reasons I could not resist their invitation! Here are a few photos of my favorite pieces, hope you enjoy them as much as I do, and I can’t wait to share more, and especially the outfit I picked for Shirel!
