As a little girl I remember my mother had this beautiful long nude trench coat by MaxMara, she wore a nude tone lipstick, and her hair was a warm almost honey color. That was my favorite look of hers, I dreamed of one day wearing that coat, and getting hightlights (that dream came true obviously hehe), and she still has that coat at home I just need to get it fitted on my body! But meanwhile here I am probably around the age she was, styling this beautiful Ganni trench coat with a Ganni tunic, from my favorite Georgetown boutique, Lynn Louisa. So as you can imagine when I first went to Lynn Louisa and saw this trench I fell head over heels, but not only with the trench with the store as a whole. I love all the brands they carry and the pieces they pick, it really is like my dream closet. Gabby (the owner) is so passionate about the brands she brings, she flies all the way to Denmark and LA amongst other places to hand pick all of her pieces, and it truly shows when you walk in there. Therefore I decided to partner with Gabby and show you a few of my favorite looks from her store, and this is the first one so make sure you stay tuned for more looks! Definitely make sure to visit Lynn Louisa if you are in DC, and right now they have up to 70% off! Another bonus reason to visit the shop, is that my amazingly talented, fun and funny (sometimes weird hehe) friend and photographer of this look and many more, Dominique Fierro is the residente artist of the boutique, and you can check out her art and buy it right there, I think we have covered enough reasons to visit this new Georgetown boutique. I hope you love this look as much as I do, and hopefully it will five you some Fall inspiration.
Madewell has become one of my favorite US brands, I really love not only their designs, but the quality that they are so meticulous about. There are many garments from their new collection I would love to have in my closet, but alas I have to show some self control (I have a babygirl now, so Im not only shopping for myself anymore). My absolute favorite pieces, are this Cape Scarf, and the Mira heels, as you can see I have worn these heels quite a lot this Fall. But this scarf, has stolen my heart, I love that I can wear basic pieces, and throw this scarf on and it just transforms my look into much more, even on a Monday morning stroll with my babygirl, or sipping on my coffee at Room11! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, besos and have a great weekend! (Shirel cracks me up as you can see)
Fall has finally decided to show up, and I am loving it! Yes we have to take reorganize our closets, and say goodbye to those bikinis, summer dresses, and sandals, but it is with a smile on my face because oh how I have missed boots, and leather jackets, fall colors, and snuggling with the hubby when Im cold! It also means, dressing my babygirl warmly, and making sure she doesn’t get a runny no (those are the worst). This Fall while I am in the US, I have teamed up with Lulu’s to show you my picks of their amazing Fall pieces! I instantly fell in love with this Plaid dress, and these AHMAZING Report knee high boots by , and I was absolutely amazed how perfectly they both fit. I mean we all know the anticipation of getting something online, and being a bit nervous, will it fit right? will it look as good as it does online, or on that model who has endless legs? And I can tell you YES, YES, and YES! You will most certainly see me wearing these boots with most of my looks this Fall, so comfy and warm, and I was walking around with the stroller, and with babygirl without a problem! Hope you love this look as much as I do!
Another week, a new list of Maternity picks;) Isabella Oliver is a UK maternity line, which I have fallen in love with. It truly embodies an essence of chic comfort for us mother’s to be, to not only feel comfortable but keep up with our style (for those of us who care of course)! Since my due date is early Fall, I have already eyed my Fall garments from their pre-collection, and these pieces have got me covered;)
How many of you have seen pale pink coats, sweaters, and blazers all over fashion magazines, catwalks, Pinterest, etc? I know I have, plenty of times for the past few months, and though I am not the usual one to fall into whatever trend is the hottest, I do have to admit that I love the warmth this quite and romantic color ads to our Fall days:) So the other day before heading to a meeting, I dug into my closet, and found my long forgotten (new, never worn) Bimba & Lola pale pink blazer that I got last in one of my Barcelona trips! Paired it with my white chucks, Maje blue denim trousers, a striped blouse, my beloved Amazona Loewe bag, and my new Stella McCartney sunnies!
