Sometimes during life, we forget to take a pause and look up. We are trapped in our phones, too engaged about what is right in front of us. That’s why this week’s Sleepy Sunday post is all about how creative light fixtures, that are hanging above, add the finishing touch to spaces.  Sometimes all you need to do is look up to see the beauty. The Pins below all showcase how eye catching light fixtures can be, and how they add to the mood of the room.  The industrial look like in the office Pin below, as well as the exposed light bulb, really set off the industrial design. Not only does it add the final touch to that type of design, but it gives the room one of a kind style. Check out this industrial looking fixture here, or this hand crafted exposed light bulb chandelier on Etsy. All lighting doesn’t have to be industrial looking though, a below Pin from laurenconrad.com shows girly, rose gold light fixtures in a kitchen.  To mimic this look, head to Anthropolgie for these pendant lights. You can also create a heavy dramatic mood with darker light fixtures like Pin below with the dark green fixture.  A dramatic fixture not only can adjust a room’s mood, but makes a great focal point. This out of the ordinary chandelier from Pottery Barn is a great example of a piece that will strike awe in your guests as they look up. Although purchasing and finding light fixtures is tough, these inspiration Pins truly show how amazing they can make a room. All one must do is look up and turn the light on! xx (For more interior design inspiration check out GGG’s Pinterest!)
