This past week has been a little hectic for me, which didn’t leave me much time to post! I have been sick, a few snow storms got in the way, so my hubby was working from home (which gave us some quality time together), and of course Valentine’s Day (which we made a whole long weekend out of)! How did you all spend your Love day? We went out for dinner the night before, and he surprised me by taking me to a fancy and romantic dinner at The Jefferson Hotel in DC and getting me three different bouquets of tulips, a white, a violet, and a red one… He is truly my forever Valentine…
As I was mentioning, snow has been falling and gracing us with it’s presence in DC as you all may very well be aware of, and I just couldn’t take wearing layers anymore, so the day of Valentine’s I decided to wear a warm red mohair Sandro sweater, my black shorts, comfy shoes, this beautiful TOUS necklace, and tons of delicious cupcakes to accessories;) Sometimes I just am tired of layering, and need to find those warm, cozy feminine sweaters that will keep me warm without the need to layer on top of it!
Esta ultima semana ha sido una locura, por eso no he podido subir ningun post, entre los “snow storms”, estuve enferma, mi marido trabajo desde casa la mayoria de los dias (quality time), y como no San Valentin (que acabo siendo un fin de largo, en vez de solo un dia)! El dia de San Valentin en si, salimos a jugar en la nieve, y no solo me sorprendio mi marido si no que tambien me llegaron estos deliciosos cupcakes a casa, cortesia de TOUS!
Asi que decidi quitarme los “layers” de invierno, y simplemente ponerme un jersey grueso, y rojo de Sandro, para celebrar el dia del amor con color:) Y accentuarlo mas con piezas negras, y este nuevo collar romantico de TOUS. Espero que os guste…
