Here is another look from my Miami getaway, I decided to wear this look for one of our dinners/night out extravaganza! These By Misha wide legged trousers, are a definite “trompe l’œil”, which I absolutely love, you wouldn’t know they are trousers, they truly look like a maxi skirt! That’s the beauty of such garments, the element of surprise! Which made me fall in love with this piece even more, and made me think that I can totally wear this look for NYE as well! But between you and me I still don’t know what Im gonna wear tomorrow (I know not the smartest move), but back to the element of surprise, sometimes there is an even more rewarding feeling when you pull together the perfect look in the last minute! So here is a look I am most certainly considering for tomorrow:) What are you ladies wearing for NYE?
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas celebration, and Im sure you’re all ready for some NYE celebrations!!! May the celebrations never end;)! As I have promised a few weeks ago, here is my Brigitte Bardot hair tutorial, and no I am not speaking in this one, but my talented friend and hair stylist Abigail de Casanova walks us through how to get the perfect Bardot style, while giving me an amazing make over, so we can all welcome 2014 with chicness! So sit back, watch with care, and let me know if you try this look!

Shoedazzle never seizes to surprise me, for those of you who know my style you know I love to mix high and low, and this is a perfect example! As much as I love investing in my special garments, I also love when I don’t spend a lot on a garment, and it’s design and quality are perfection! So when I got these Carlie red heels to ring in the new year with style, I was more than Happy with my choice! Don’t they remind you of the Valentino studded style heels? I cannot wait to wear these out, not only for NYE, but I am also envisioning casual denim looks for dinner, or house parties, we all know how many of those are coming up in this season… It is also a tradition in Spain to wear something red the night of NYE, usually it’s lingerie (which I will also make sure to wear;) but this time I have also chosen to stand tall in red heels!
I am very aware that it is winter, cold and very much Holiday times, but I am still sharing my Miami looks, and yes maybe dreaming a little bit of that warmer week gone by way too quickly, as I am looking out my window and it is grey and rainy in DC… But I am hopeful that many of you are planning a get away to a warmer place after the Holidays, for NYE? And even if you are not, who said we can’t prepare (fantasize) about the warmer days, and taking off all those layers? I know it always makes me happier, knowing that after ringing in the New Year we only have a few short months of cold, and before we know it, it shall be warm again! While we were in Miami we explored everything the city had to offer, but on our last day we decided to stick around the hotel and enjoy The Mondrian in all it’s beauty, and one of the things we were very much surprised to find was their “Kissing Garden”. This magical garden reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, and her red shoes, didn’t we all dream of being her as little girls, and having those magic shoes? I felt very much like “Haya in Wonderland”, with my prince by my side, my By Misha Catalina tweed jacket, faux leather cami top, black shorts, Zara red heels, and my Louis Vuitton Alma BB! And my best accessory, Miami’s sun shining on me…
On my Miami trip this past week, my friend introduced me to Tom Ford’s make up products, and I am in LOVE, so I had to share it with all of you! First of all I have to start with how beautiful is the packaging? Which is why I always regarded them as just beautiful packaging, and stuck to my usual YSL lipsticks, Armani make up, and all the beauty products I am attached to;) But oh was I wrong, yes Tom knows how to make our men stylishly handsome, but the man also knows how to make us pretty little dollies;) My friend had this “Shade & Illuminate” Highlighter & Shader Duet,
Shade & Illuminate” Highlighter & Shader Duet
and this “Vanilla Suede” lipstick, which I was using every day to get dolled up! So now you know, I declare myself a Tom Ford make up addict! I’d love to hear if any of you use any of Tom Ford’s make up products, let me know;)!

Sorry for these iPhone photos, but these were taken before one of our night outs, and frankly I was having too much fun in Miami, and not much time to take beautiful photos in every occasion! But I think you get the picture right? You can see my glowing cheeks, and the beautiful lip color!
