Wearing Maybelline Color Elixir in Fuchsia Flourish
I love having choices and more choices to pick from, be it in clothes, food, drinks, evening plans, and of course in beauty;) This winter I am embracing exploring more into make up and beauty, to get the perfect NYE look! Right now everything I am trying out and working on, be it looks, make up products, my next beauty videos, everything is with my NYE look in mind (mind you I still have no plans for that night, but the options will come;). Which is why I was delighted when Refinery29 sent me these these Maybelline Color Elixir to add to my lipstick collection, Raspberry Rhapsody, Signature Scarlet, and Fuchsia Flourish. I am in Love, first of all they taste delicious, they are that perfect magic touch making my lips instantly soft, and the color just pops without having to apply too much! Which color will you pick??? On another note no one told me that taking photos of my face so up close would be such a (scary) challenge , so don’t mind if I added a little magic to my photography;) (no girl wants to show her dark eye circles up & close, just sayin’:) And of course these looks would not have been possible without my talented friend and make up genius Abigail de Casanova!

I have a weakness for sheer tops, and I love wearing them in both summer and winter! I think if you find the right one that shows some skin but yet has a touch of classy it can add a wow factor to your look. Which is why I fell head over heels with this Jennifer Chun sheer embroidered chiffon top! Jennifer Chun is another gem of a designer, I saw her collection when I was in St. Louis for fashion, and her pieces enchanted me. I love how she combines different fabrics that give her pieces a strong and edgier look, yet keeps it feminine with classic silhouettes. I hope you enjoy this look, which I created with the Holidays in mind:)! All you need is a centerpiece such as this top, and style it with black pieces from your wardrobe, and you are ready!
I can’t believe New Year’s is almost here! This marks my 2 year anniversary in DC! Though I miss Barcelona every day (I won’t lie), I love celebrating the New Year with dear friends, having amazing dinner, and dancing the night away:) So I have started picking different looks (though we still have no plans), and here is one of my NYE looks, a long sleeve black dress (with a touch of sheer), over the knee suede boots, a cropped blazer (which you can get this Saturday at the District Closets shopping event in Marivanna DC, more info here ), black clutch, and some bling (it’s not a New Year celebration without some bling). What are you wearing to welcome 2014?
Cual es tu New Year’s look?
There is no better feeling than the one you get when discovering something new! Which is the feeling I love wearing;) I love discovering new brands and designers, and that happens on a daily basis, since I spend my time browsing online, reading magazine, obsessively on Instagram, and of course Pinterest (my source of knowledge these days;)! Which is where I stumbled upon Blank NYC , and they know what they’re doing, absolute geniuses! I am always on the hunt for (denim) brands to fall in love with, and this one has definitely stolen my heart! ! But for once I decided to change my “shopping” strategy, and pick pieces I don’t have in my closet, which is why I went for these Plaid trousers, I wanted a subtle plaid piece for this fall and this one is IT! These trousers fit to perfection (if you’re vurvy like me you know it’s not easy to find the perfect fit), and they are warm and as comfy as it gets! So I decided to pair them with my Theory satin blouse and my (signature) pumps. How are you wearing plaid this fall? Feel free to leave share, Id love to hear about your style! (Stay tuned for my new faux leather pieces I got from Blank NYC)
Oh and I had to add my hubby’s (photographer/bestfriend/lover) photo, since one of the reason’s (endless other reasons) I fell in love with him was his sense of style! He is wearing his new Moncler coat, and D&G denim and high tops, he is ready for Winter (eventhough it’s fall;)!

There is nothing like that feeling of discovering a new talented and local designer, and this is what happened this past week! Erika Schrieber was featured on the Washingtonian and mentioned me as one of her favorite bloggers in DC (highlight of my week)! So I had to reach out and thank her, as well as meet up to see her fabulous pieces. I was sold the moment I and saw the collection of her cropped tops (one of my weaknesses, which led me to getting spring pieces in the beginning of fall, but why not? Erika’s designs are beautifully structured, her selection of pastel colors is feminine and chic, and the fit to perfection yet feel so comfortable on the skin! And I love how this cropped top sits loose on my body! Hope you like this weekend look I’ve put together with her Carola Cropped top!
